The suite featured breathtaking views of the lake from a private balcony, providing a perfect spot to soak in the scenery. The unique decor and charm made for an inviting and memorable atmosphere.

The property sits on a steep hill, making it a tough trek from the bus station, especially with luggage at high altitude. My room got really cold at night, needing two space heaters, and gaps in the door allowed insects to get in. I encountered around 20 ants and 3 spiders. There was no reliable hot water for two days, with the shower pressure being weak, only a few holes in the showerhead allowed any water out.

Had an awesome time at Hostal Las Olas! Martin, the host, is fantastic, making us feel truly at home. The view from our suite was breathtaking, and the cozy wood-burning stove was a nice touch. Just a heads-up—those stairs can be a workout with the altitude!

Although there were kitchen facilities, I missed having meals on-site to fully enjoy the ambiance.
